Optimizing the Choice of Means of Transport using Operational Research

This study focuses on the issue of choosing a means transport PilaWarsaw route by four groups recipients. Representative sample consists student, family with two children, business client and pensioner. The choice depends various criteria resulting from preferences users transport. following emerged survey results as priority: time, cost, comfort safety travel, availability transport, necessity or absence transfers, cost luggage punctuality Selected were assigned weightings based evaluation panel experts in field expertise. In order to select implement task, multi-criteria optimization method was used.
